Valentine Pockets

With Valentine's Day just around the corner, I went shopping for some candy to put in these sweet Valentine Pockets I made for the grandkids.  That ought to be enough sugar for 4 kiddos, don't you think?

This is the sweet Valentine Pocket I made for the candy to go in.  I found the pattern on the Moda Bake Shop here.

I modified the pattern just a tad.  It calls for you to make your own handle from a strip of fabric.  I chose to use ric rac instead.  It was a lot faster!

I also personalized my Valentine Pockets.  Do you see their name just above the yo-yo?

It didn't take any time at all to whip these 4 up.  Actually the pattern instructions are to make 4 at a time.  It isn't real clear how many you're actually making.  Lucky for me that's exactly how many I needed.

There's still time for you to make one or four for your favorite Valentine.
