DCQG Donation Quilt

I was asked to do the quilting on a donation quilt for the DeKalb County Quilters Guild (DCQG).  It will be one of several that will serve as their donation quilt for their 2016 Harvest of Quilts Show coming October 1st and 2nd.

I think it turned out very nice.  It's made from a charm pack (5" squares) and some background yardage.

The quilting was quite easy with my Statler Stitcher.  This is the pattern I programmed and placed around the star.  It's actually called a p2p (point to point) pattern that is placed by clicking on the triangle points.

And this is how it looks stitched out.

Then I placed this pattern in the star.

And its all stitched out.

Now for the four patch unit.  This is actually all one pattern but looks like 4 separate ones.

The backing is just as neat as the front.  It could easily be a reversible quilt.

I hope they do well with this sweet little donation quilt.
