In Our Garden Blog Hop Coming

It's cold and dreary outside, at least in DeKalb IL so I was pretty excited when Amy from Sew Incredibly Crazy contacted me about participating in the In Our Garden Blog Hop.  I need to think Spring, and Warm, and all things pretty In Our Garden.

I've been working on my block.  Of course I can't show it to you yet though.  My month is April. I can tell you the pieced block is pretty simple and oh so cute and my appliqued block involves a watering can, a flower, and a packet of seeds.... right now.  By April it could morph into something completely different.

Here's how it's going down....  It's a Block of the Month program.  There will be 11 different blogger/designers that will be creating and sharing their FREE pattern with you during their month according to the schedule below.  You may make one or both of the blocks offered.  One will be a pieced block and the other will be an applique block.  The blog hop will start in February and be posted on the first of each month thereafter.

Pat from Life in the Scrapatch, one of our designers has sew generously provided a layout and yardage requirements.  Of course you can also create your own layout as well.

We have SEW SUPER SPONSORS too In Our Garden!  They have been SEW generous!  There will be some fabulous prizes you won't want to miss!

I hope you're as excited as we are and can't wait to see what's In Our Garden.  Be sure to join us!

  1. It will be so fun, especially with all those amazing sponsors! Can't wait to see you final design. :)

  2. Very nice line-up of bloggers/designers to make this a lot of fun, Doris! I will tune in for sure! **You are very good at keeping a secret!

  3. Doris what am I missing here? Do we show our blocks monthly or what? I'm confused as to what we are to do for the hop. I found no additional information at Amy's either. Or have we even gotten instructions yet, maybe I'm jumping the gun. Any help appreciated.
