2016 promises to be just as exciting. I have goals for Magazine publications and maybe a book, lots of blog hops, a quilt along, some linky parties, and a block of the month starting soon. I have it designed, just need to get the first few blocks going. Can't decide if I'm going to do a mystery or show you what it looks like first. What do you prefer?
All of your projects from last year look amazing Doris! For your block of the month, I don't do mysteries, I'd hate to spend all that time on a project only to find I didn't like the end product. I know others love the mystery element though - Cheryl from Meadow Mist Designs did a quilt along recently and she left it a mystery on her blog, but emailed a picture of the finished to quilt to those who wanted it at the start. It would make a little more work for you, but would probably result in more people joining in.
ReplyDeleteI can see where last year went for you - you were super prolific!!! I'm with Jen, I want to see the finished quilt first! It helps me with choosing fabrics and colors. I've collected the the clues for some of Bonnie Hunter's mystery quilts, but didn't care for the completed quilt, so I didn't make them. I need more control then a mystery quilt gives me!!
