Farmer's Wives Progress

First off, I'd like to wish this sweet little boy a Happy Happy Birthday.  It's hard to believe I have a child 32 years old when I'm only 29!  He was such a tiny little blessing, only weighed 3 lbs, 7 oz.

But baby look at him now!  (Ok, maybe not now.  This picture was taken in 2010 but I loved it anyway.)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DREW!

Ok, now it's back to the real blog post.  It's been a long time since I've worked on my Farmer's Wives blocks.  I was doing pretty good about keeping up but then the move happened last March and I don't think I've worked on them since.  Boy am I glad I did the pretty hard ones first and saved the easy ones for last.

Now that's a stack of 6" blocks with sashing added on 2 sides

I laid them out on the bed.....

Oh snap!   I'm about 12 short!  How disappointing!  I was getting so excited to be able to set them together.  After a long ordeal of trying to figure out which ones I was missing,  I finally figured out that I missed printing 2 months worth of patterns.  I'm off to make more blocks.
