Allietare Mystery Quilt Part 1

Whooo Hooo!  I did it!  I made 294 half square triangles for clue number 1 in the Allietare Mystery Quilt Part 1 with Bonnie Hunter.  You can learn all about it here.  And you can see all my fabric choices here.  This is what Bonnie told us to make....

My strips are cut....

My half square triangles are cut....

Thank goodness for my Easy Angle Ruler.  I would have not finished all 300 of these in one day if I had to draw a line, sliver trim them or have to remove paper from any of the triangle paper methods. The Easy Angle Ruler method to make half square triangles is the easiest, quickest, and most accurate method.  I absolutely love it... now that I learned how to use the ruler.  :)

Sew baby sew....

Here is what I made....  300 to be exact.   It just worked out that way....  unless I counted wrong, which I certainly could have...

Even the dog ears are trimmed.... not in the photo above, but they really are!   You can see in the photo below....

Clue #2 came out today.  Are you ready for it?  I am!  I'm linking up to Bonnie's Allietare Linky Party on Mondays.  You can find it here.
