A Little Prep Work

I'm trying to be a little pro-active and be prepared for some sewing for my upcoming travels.  I'll be gone the week of Christmas to go home to Missouri and I'll be gone the following week to Arizona to have Christmas with Hollie and the grandkids there.  Then I'll be home a week or so and I'm off again, depending on when I decide to leave to a quilt retreat with my Texas girlfriends.

I probably won't get much sewing time in Missouri and I know I won't get any in Arizona.  When I go to Texas I'm flying and I'll have to pack light.  So I'm pre-cutting and only taking what's necessary.

These are my Moda Sampler Shuffle blocks.  They are all cut out and ready to sew.

I packaged each block and instructions in individual ziplock bags.  They are all ready to sew up now.  I love it when I prep blocks and all I have to do is sit down and start sewing.  Tomorrow I plan to do the same prep with the remaining Farmer's Wives blocks I need to finish that quilt.
