Drop In For A Spell & Freebie Friday

Since I've been in Arizona getting sugar from these lovebugs, I haven't been doing much sewing.

However, on the plane ride here, I did work on an embroidery project I started some time ago, put it down and am just now picking it back up.  It's this pattern from Oh My Bloomin Threads called "Drop In For A Spell".

I thought the cauldron pot needed to be "blacker" so I colored it in with a fabric marker.  I could have used crayons but decided to give the fabric markers a try.  I like the results.  Didn't seem like as much work as the crayons, (not that either of them are a lot of work) but maybe that's just me.

I didn't have much of anything completed on it, just a few words on it were stitched out.  I got all of it finished on the plane except the socks, shoes, bubbles and bottle.  It really stitched out pretty quickly.  I finished those in the evening after the kids went to bed and it's a done deal now.

Isn't it cute.  I can't decide if I'm going to make it into a pillow like the pattern suggests or if I'm going to use it in the center of a medallion quilt for Halloween.  What do you think?

Ronene over at Oh My Bloomin Threads has graciously given me FIVE patterns to give away on this week's Freebie Friday.  These are the patterns we're giving away.  There are so many super cute ones.  I want to do them all!!!

All you have to do is visit Drop In For A Spell at Oh My Bloomin Threads and leave me a comment back here on what your favorite pattern is.  Just use the Rafflecopter entry form below to be eligible to win.   Rafflecopter will pick 5 lucky winners on 11/15/15.
