Busy Mystery Block

You know (or at least I think you know) that I've been working on my Grand Illusion Mystery Quilt that Bonnie Hunter posted almost a year ago.  If you'd like to catch up, you can read about it here and here and here.  Wow, I've accomplished a lot!

I only made a couple of the blocks for each clue Bonnie gave at the time.  Then Jo at Jo's Country Junction put out a challenge just before her retreat in July so I dug it out and worked on it a little more.  Then Jo put out another challenge a few weeks ago, so I'm working on it again.

I'm so happy to say I have all the components completed (I think) to make all the blocks and I almost have all the sashing blocks finished as well.  I might have those finished but I ran out of fabric, or at least a variety of fabrics.  But I can put all my blocks together now.

All 100 sets of these are finally finished!  Whoo Hoo!!

So are you ready for the block reveal.....

I really like it!  I wasn't sure I was going to but I think I do!  So now that I'm this close, I just couldn't resist adding the sashing around it.

Are you ready for that?....

Whoa!  That's one Busy Mystery Block.....   But I think I still like it.  It will tell me more when I get them all together though.  Either way, it doesn't matter if I like it or not.  It's going to get finished and I'm gonna like it!  I've spent too much time, energy, and money in it not to!

I'm linking up with Jo at Jo's Country Junction.  She's really rockin the Mystery Challenge.  Go check it out!
