Last weekend was the Kane County Trade Days (Flea Market). The King and I decided to go check it out and see if there was anything we couldn't live without.
This sweet gadget (sewing machine tractor) didn't come home with me (I decided I could live without it) but it sure was clever use of those old heads that no longer work. This head of this machine has some fabulous ornate decals on it. It's really too bad someone didn't take better care of it. I didn't even look at the price tag to see how much they were asking for this piece of art.
These sewing machine drawers DID come home with me though.
And so did these two Longaberger baskets.
And look what the King found. Actually I found it, thought it would make a great bedside table. It was interesting enough and it good shape. I originally thought it was some sort of sewing machine cabinet. Then I looked at the tag and it says it's a 1930's humidor. That's when the King stepped in and decided why yes we do need that. He smokes an occasional cigar and thought it would be perfect for him.
Pretty cute little cabinet. We'll see if cigars make their way into it.
