Dog Gone Cute Blocks 1 & 2

While Queenie was down the last 2 1/2 weeks, I've been working on my Dog Gone Cute Quilt for the blog hop that's coming up with Lorna at Sew Fresh Quilts.  These blocks are just so Dog Gone Cute!  If you remember, here are some of my fabrics I'm using.  You can read about it here as well.

I have Dog Gone Cute Blocks 1 & 2 ready to show you.  The whole time I've been working on this I keep humming a song my grandma used to sing to me.  It goes something like this:

  1. (How Much Is) That Doggie in the Window
    Song by Patti Page
  2. How much is that doggie in the window?
The one with the waggly tail
How much is that doggie in the window?
I do hope that doggie's for sale
It's been a very LONG time since I've heard that song.  For one thing, it's been a very long time since I've been a little girl and for another my sweet grandma passed away in 1989.

Lorna's instructions are fabulous!  Very easy to follow and very clear and concise with lots of illustrations.

Block 2

You can follow along with Lorna on her Dog Gong Cute Quilt-Along and then the later on her Dog Gone Cute Blog Hop.  The Dog Gone Cute Quilt Along Kickoff can be found here and Blocks 1 & 2 can be found here.

I'll have blocks 3 & 4 to show you in a day or so.  They're already finished but I want to give you a couple of days to catch up if you're joining in the Dog Gone Cute Quilt Along.

  1. Super cute. Love the red/white/blacks.

  2. How adorable! I've finished #1 and will done with #2 tonight...I just LOVE these blocks but I'm not a fan of sewing such tiny pieces (I'm making the smaller version).
