Last Retreat Day Happenings

It is always bittersweet when a retreat comes to an end.  I'm always ready to go home and be back with my family and sleep in my own bed.  But I sure do enjoy the dedicated time sewing and especially grateful for the new friends I make.

Day of 4 the retreat was with Jo and Kelli at Jo's Country Junction.  We worked on the May Flowers quilt.  Here are a few of my flowers.  I went out on a limb with my background fabric.  It is clouds.  I think I'll really like it once my star blocks are made to go with it.  My star blocks are green to represent the green leaves.

This is a really fun block to make and really goes fast.  I can't wait to get this one finished.  It's going to be bright and happy.

I'm sharing a few photos from Bonnie Hunter's page at Quiltville.   I got so absorbed in sewing I forgot to take many pictures.  The retreat was so much fun!
