Quilting Eye Candy 04-12-15

It's been a while since I've posted Quilting Eye Candy.  I can't tell you how good it is to be quilting again.  I have however, lost my fence that I hung the quilts on to photograph them.  So until I can come up with a ingenious way to hang the quilts to photograph, my great assistant William will have to do.

Margaret made this 30's reproduction print quilt.  It is the second time it's been quilted.  The first time it was quilted by another quilter and the quilter put the wrong backing on it.  Marjorie was so upset and I don't blame her.  She took it home and ripped out all of the quilting.  I would have just had to have a quilt that the backing didn't match.  There is no way I would have ripped out all of those stitches.  And this isn't a small quilt either.

Quilting Pattern:  Curls in the Garden by Sweet Dreams Studio
Thread:  Glide White
Quilt size:  77" x 77"

Margaret also made this bright modern quilt from Kaffe Fassett fabrics

Quilting Pattern:  Modern Chevron variation by Wasatch Quilting
Thread:  Glide Peppermint
Quilt size:  58" x 72"

Now I ask you,  did I show you the front of the quilt in the photo above or is this the front of the quilt in the photo below?  Her back is as good as the front.  Yay, a reversible quilt.

Delia made this modern churn dash.  Kinda funky how the block is long and skinny.  I kinda like it though.

Delia also made this modern looking chevron quilt.  I love the colors in it.

Quilting Pattern:  Damask E2E by Wasatch Quilting

Anita does some amazing work with all these triangles and the added applique touch is perfect.

Kathleen used a panel and some focus fabric to make this dinosaur quilt 55" x 67"

I hope you're enjoying the Quilting Eye Candy as much as I am enjoying getting back to it.  Have a great week.
