Today on Tips, Tricks, and Tuts Tuesday I'm giving you a cheat sheet. I'm sure you've seen it and I know I've seen the cheat sheet a hundred times before but it was never handy or available when I needed it. I finally got smart... ok maybe not smart but I finally laminated the cheat sheet and taped it to the table under the edge of my cutting mat. Now I just flip the cutting mat up and there is my cheat sheet. Saves so much time and thinking power and some days my thinking power is running pretty low.
Now when I'm working on my Addicted to Scraps project I was telling you about yesterday, I can just grab a fat quarter and cut away. You can read about it here if you want.
Oh and if you're wondering how the hand is. It's doing quite well. My doctor and my physical therapist are quite pleased with my progress. The doctor released me from my splint/cast thingy.... kinda.... He strongly suggested I continue to wear it at night when I sleep or if my hand felt fatigued during the day for a couple more weeks. I have range of motion exercises to do for a couple of weeks and then he said we would work on strengthening exercises. I can tell you it sure needs strengthening and I mean A LOT!!! I'm so happy to to free of the splint and have use of my hand again.
