Tasteful Thursday - Buffalo Chicken Crescent Ring

You guys are in for a treat today with the second edition of Tasteful Thursday. But, before we get into today's recipe I want to apologize for not having one the past two Thursdays. We have been super busy moving and no, not us, my grandparents.  You can read all about it here. So now that we are back lets get into today's food item, which is a Buffalo Chicken Crescent Ring. Lets hop right into it.

- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup hot sauce
- 2 1/2 cups chopped cooked chicken
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese (or whatever kind you want)
- 2 cans of crescent dinner rolls
- 1/3 cup of crumbled feta cheese

Heat oven to 375 degrees. In a small bowl, mix cream cheese and hot sauce until smooth. Once done with that mix in your chicken and shredded cheese.

Next you need to unroll both cans of crescent rolls and separate them into triangles. Once separated you want to place them in a a circle or ring (like the picture below) on a cookie sheet. The triangles should overlap a little bit.

After making the ring out of the crescent rolls you need to take the cream cheese mixture and spoon it out on the part of the triangle closest to the center of the ring. Top with your crumbled feta cheese.

Then you need to bring the tip of the dough triangles over the filling, tucking the dough under the bottom until all triangles are folded over. Should look similar to the picture below.

After all the triangles are folded over you need to pop it the oven for about 20-25 min or until the dough is golden brown.

I made this for my grandparents and mom and they all thought it was very good. As You can see, we had already ate half of it before I remembered to take a picture of it.  Although grandma and grandpa thought it was a little on the spicy side, mom and I thought it could use a little more kick. So you might want to experiment with how much hot sauce you use if you decide to make this yourself. It is very easy to make and very good. If you do decide to make it please leave me a comment on what you thought of it. I hope you guys and gals enjoyed this edition of Tasteful Thursday and hopefully nothing will prevent us from posting in the future.

See You Next Time - William
