I was finally able to go to the sewing machine and sew a few stitches!!!!!  It felt so good yet so frustrating! It felt good to sit and sew but it was so frustrating not to have full use of my right hand.  I wasn't able to use the rotary cutter at all!  I had to ask William to do all my cutting!  He wasn't exactly a happy camper about doing that for me either!

I decided to do a few more block units on my Grand Illusion Mystery Quilt that Bonnie Hunter is putting together.

If you recall, I'm doing my Grand Illusion Mystery in Halloween colors and fabrics.  You can read about it by clicking on the links below.  And if you're doing this mystery or follow Bonnie, you already know she's posted the Grand Reveal and how it will  look, but I'm not going to spoil it for you in case you don't know.

I decided to skip to clue #5.  It was simple 4 patch units.  You can see the complete instructions here.

Here are my step 5 units.  I can't believe how long it took me to make 29 four patch blocks.

I'll go back and catch Clue #3 and Clue #4; maybe tomorrow, maybe not.  It will actually be when I can get someone to use the rotary cutter for me.
