I heard correctly. There were some talented quilts in the show. Here are a few pictures of some quilts that caught my eye. Warning, there are a lot of pictures. After the quilt show, we went "Junk-tique-ing". I'll show my wares tomorrow. Oh and about that Carrot Cake Cupcake.... let's just say the King is not in very good standing with me right now. He DIDN'T go get my cupcake and when we went after the show, they were CLOSED! We attempted to go the the Fredericksburg Pie Company for a piece of pie and they were SOLD OUT! Hmmm..... I made him stop at the grocery store in Brady on our way home and get carrots and cream cheese so I could go home and bake one. You know how it is when you have your taste buds set on something. I'll report back on that later too.
What a cool chair and ottoman.
This little miniature quilt was covered in tulle netting and it made it look like the snow was glistening.
Not the most beautiful quilt in the world but I loved it! It was red, white and blue!
Aren't these the neatest ribbons. I'd love to be a winner for one of these ribbons.
How cool is this "border" around the room? Quilt block after quilt block sewn together, end to end, and went around the entire room!
I love these mini's. I don't have that many patience to do one.
Neat wool flowers on this quilt. The blocks are only about 3" square.
These flying geese are dimensional! Pretty neat!
This Halloween quilt won best of show. I can see why!!! It would have been my choice too!
