I told you yesterday Queenie has been no slacker!  She tried to lay down on the job but I wouldn't let her!  Cathy commented that it sounded like Queenie didn't want to leave Texas.  I don't blame her...

This is Loraine's Carpenter's Star.  She wasn't crazy about the colors.  They were a special request but I love them!

I know you've seen this quilt before... well not this exact quilt but one just like it.  I've lost track of how many Nancy has made.  This one is for her daughter.

I can't say enough about how I love the gold thread on this.  It looks great on the cream flying geese...

It looks great on the red 9 patch section....

And it looks great on the blue rail fence section...

Have no fear.... I have more quilting to share with you in the next few days.  But I have to deliver them to their owners first.  I like for the quilt maker to see it first before I put it on here.

I've also been working on my Christmas gifts for the "Twas the Night" Blog Hop.  My day isn't until next Friday.  Of course I can't share anything with you yet.  But you can go on over and check it out... be inspired... and get busy making your gifts.

  1. Wow, these quilts are fabulous. You did an awesome job on FMQ. I love how you made the FMQ fit the pattern of the quilt. You are so very creative.

  2. I love Nancy's Texas flag quilt!!! Do you know where I can get this pattern? Cynthia. cknapp3626@sbcglobal. Net

  3. Wow, girl...that carpenter's star is beautiful...the thread choice was perfect ! I bet she was thrilled with it !!!!

Your comments make my day. I love to hear what you have to say. Please leave me a comment.
