I'm on market overload. Everywhere you look there are amazing quilts, tools, rulers, fabrics, gadgets OH MY!!!

Friday was "Schoolhouse" all day. You spend the entire day going from room to room, learning about new products, fabrics, patterns, shop secrets that work, and lots of networking with other shop owners, designers, teachers, longarmers, and company exec's.  There is so much to see and learn!  I got a few freebies and door prizes that I'm going to be giving away in the next few days and weeks. I'd share them with you but that would spoil all the fun.

Here are some of the things I saw at Schoolhouse.  The opening session was LOTS of Judy Neimeyer Quilts and her new line "The Reclaimed West Collection".  I am in awe of all these patterns!

Several of my Schoolhouse sessions were spent in boring the most interesting and informative sessions about social media, Youtube, and Pinterest.  I really did learn quite a few things but I won't bore you with it.  So it's on to the exciting Schoolhouse sessions.

Hexagon Happenings with Carolyn Forster.  I really liked the "big hexagons".

There are 4 rulers in her packet and all can be used to make the quilts in her book.

A new twist on the layout of sampler blocks.  Very striking.

A new fabric collection from Marianne Elizabeth

And my favorite Schoolhouse session of the day was with the "Stripper Queen" Eleanor Burns of Quilt in A Day.  She revealed her new book "All Star Quilts"  featuring a feathered star.
