As you know, the King has worked for 3M for 30+ years so anything 3M or "Scotchtape" related, he likes to pick up. It's one of the few things he collects (if you don't count caps). He's not a
Look at the surprise I found in one of the tins.
I also picked up these 2 vintage canisters for my new kitchen re-do.
You can barely see it and I didn't notice it at the store but they have some imprinting on them. I noticed it when I was drying them off. I felt the rough of the imprinting. I think they were probably etched with gold like the gold on the lid at one time. One has a "C" and the other has a "T"; coffee and tea I presume. I doubt I use them for canisters or for coffee or tea but I bet I figure out something to stash in them.
While I was paying for my canister purchases, I found this piece of Halls Orange Poppy. I don't collect Halls Orange Poppy but my mom does. She has several pieces she's collected through the years and several pieces we gifted her. However, I've never seen this piece. The tag says it's called a "Leftover" dish. They also had 2 other casserole pieces that she doesn't have but I didn't get them.
I also told you about some Carrot Cake Cupcakes that I had my mouth set on. I've made them and they are delicious! I'll share the recipe with you tomorrow evening along with another surprise.
Great finds and I'm glad you got your cupcakes!!!
