Speaking of grandkids, LaTrelle made two of these adorable 3-D Butterfly quilts for her two granddaughters that were coming to visit from Colorado. When I was quilting them I felt like the butterflies could just fly right off that quilt.
I love this Churn Dash quilt pattern that Janie used. That lime green that makes a secondary pattern just made this quilt pop.
And Janie also made this two color quilt. How can you go wrong with red and white in a Jacob's Ladder pattern. Well, you just can't!
Mary Jane bought these cute little cowpoke embroidery blocks already embroidered from the girls at Front Porch Quilts in Benjamin TX. The price was pretty darn good too. I know because I bought a set too. Would you embroider these for less than $4 a block. Not me, which is why I bought them. I just haven't made mine into a quilt yet.
The ladies at Pompey Mountain Baptist Church has this Blooming Brick pattern down. I bet they can make it without even looking at the directions. Every time I see it, I love it though. They all look so different. Lawana made this one.
That's all for this time. I don't want to overload you with too many pictures. But remember, I've been BUSY! I still have quite a few more to share with you.
the butterfly quilts are simply magical...how pretty...and picnic quilt...now that is something i am looking forward too.
