It has been a while since I posted pictures of any longarm quilting.  I have been extremely busy and have plenty to share with you.  Before I do, I wanted to update you on my Picnic Quilt progress.  The quilting is completed on the Picnic Quilt, the binding is finished but I'm not ready to share it with you yet.  Raliegh and Kameron will be here in July and we are going on a picnic.  That's when I'll show it to you.  This Nana is sooo excited!  I've been seeing lots of pictures on Facebook that the other grandparents have been posting.  It looks like they are having the time of their life ( both the grandparents and the grandkids).

Speaking of grandkids, LaTrelle made two of these adorable 3-D Butterfly quilts for her two granddaughters that were coming to visit from Colorado.  When I was quilting them I felt like the butterflies could just fly right off that quilt.

I love this Churn Dash quilt pattern that Janie used.  That lime green that makes a secondary pattern just made this quilt pop.

And Janie also made this two color quilt.  How can you go wrong with red and white in a Jacob's Ladder pattern.  Well, you just can't!

Mary Jane bought these cute little cowpoke embroidery blocks already embroidered from the girls at Front Porch Quilts in Benjamin TX.  The price was pretty darn good too.  I know because I bought a set too.  Would you embroider these for less than $4 a block.  Not me, which is why I bought them.  I just haven't made mine into a quilt yet.

The ladies at Pompey Mountain Baptist Church has this Blooming Brick pattern down.  I bet they can make it without even looking at the directions.  Every time I see it, I love it though.  They all look so different.  Lawana made this one.

That's all for this time.  I don't want to overload you with too many pictures.  But remember, I've been BUSY!  I still have quite a few more to share with you.

  1. the butterfly quilts are simply pretty...and picnic that is something i am looking forward too.

  2. The quilting is all lovely. Those embroidered blocks are fabulous and you can't beat the price.

  3. Everything is all very lovely, but those butterflies are so very cool!
