Yep, I say it every month and this month is no different.  I can't believe how fast this month flew by.  I swear it was yesterday and the date was April 1st.  It must be a delayed April Fools Joke.  It really isn't May 1st is it?

Due to the crazy, hectic schedule I've had here lately and running up and down the road from Missouri to Texas and back, I don't have much time in the sewing room.  When I am home, I'm quilting like a crazy woman to catch up on the customer's quilts that have come in either by mail or been dropped off with my awesome King.  Are you tired of hearing about me running up and down the road yet?  I'm tired of doing it.  I'm ready to be in one place for a while!

I did start 2 things but haven't finished either one.  But that's the point of this whole NewFO challenge.  You have to start something in the month but you don't have to finish it.  Remember I AM the QUEEEN of a lot of things and starting things is one of them.

I started this very hungry caterpillar quilt for Raleigh for her 6th birthday on May 10th.  Again it seems like yesterday that she was born.  Needless to say this Nana failed miserably!  Not only will I not get the quilt finished in time for her birthday, I certainly missed the time frame to mail it to Japan and she receive it for her birthday.  I did mail her a couple of small things and promised to surprise her with more later.
It will have a pieced border around it made with a variation of the drunkards path block and will kind represent a work going around the edge of the quilt.... I think.... or at least that's my vision.

And I started my project for the Summer Picnic Hop at Sew We Quilt.  I'm very excited about it and I know you'll want to come back for the entire blog hop.  I can guarantee you that you will be inspired by all the creativeness that is happening to prepare for it.

In case you missed it, I posted about a Top Secret Project for Quiltmaker's 100 Blocks Volume 9 Blog Tour in February.  This week is the blog tour and I can finally show you that project.  And of course I named it "Top Secret".

And last month I posted about another Top Secret Project; my SuperPowers Stitching Project which I revealed during the hop a couple of weeks ago.  If you missed that you can see it again here.

And last but not least, I'm still scrapbooking.  I've completed 2011 for William and have moved on to 2012.  Mom and I are more than halfway finished with 2012 also.  I only have 2013 and the beginning of 2014 and I still have 23 days until the Graduation Party.  Awe heck, that's a piece of cake! Right??!!  Uhmmm....  Of course it is!!!
