I said it last month and I'm saying it again this month.  Where did this month go?  It just flew by.  I was in Missouri the first week of March, William and I came back to Brownwood for Spring Break the second week of March, and then we're back in Missouri the rest of the month.  I was only suppose to be back in Missouri for 1 week but there has been an issue with his eligibility to play golf so I felt like I needed to be here to handle any issues that might arise.  I'll tell you more about that later but at this time I think it's best to leave it at that.

So, saying all that, I actually did start and finish a few things.

I started and finished the Spring Table Runner for my sister

I started and finished the flag for The Flag on A Stick Block Hop that is about to finish up.  My day is tomorrow and there is one more day after that.  There are some really neat flags flying high out there.  I'll edit this post after mine posts tomorrow so there will be a picture of it too.

I started and finished my top secret project for the next blog hop "What is Your SuperPower".  Sorry I can't show you that either.  You'll have to come see it on the blog hop.

I started and almost finished my first month's project for Little Jo's Club.  I somehow only took pictures of the blocks before I set them together.  They are set together and all that's needed is the outside border.

Does scrapbooking count for starting a project?  I sure have been working on that!  Mom and I finished 2009 and 2010 for William's scrapbooks.  I forgot my external hard drive in Texas that my pictures are stored on so I am at a stand still until I go back home.  I know, I know, I should print pictures as I go.  I used to be a Creative Memories consultant and I used to preach to my customers to print your pictures, print your pictures, print your pictures.  They can get lost on computers and disk drives that crash.  Ask me how I know this.  However, I didn't head my own advise.  At least I do have them in folders by year so it won't be too hard to get them together.  I just have 3 years to put together before graduation on Memorial weekend.  It's do-able!

So what have you been working on this month?  How many things did you start or maybe even finish?  April will be a busy month as well.  I know of one project I will start and finish.  A friend and I have been commissioned to make a memory quilt for graduation out of some baby dresses for a lady's daughter.  We have our pattern picked out and additional fabric purchased.  We'll get started on it right away so that will count for my NewFO.

I'm linking up to Cat Patches NewFO Party.  All you have to do to join the party is start something new.  No finishes are required.  And just for playing along, she's giving away a neat quilting pin.  So hop on over and see what everyone is starting.

  1. You had a productive month. I love the table runner you did for your sister. The spring colors call me.

  2. Very nice work. I just love the nine-patch...it was the first block I ever made.

  3. Table runner is very nice and I always like a nine patch.

Your comments make my day. I love to hear what you have to say. Please leave me a comment.
