My sister called the other day and wanted to know if I could get a Spring Table Runner completed before I come home on Sunday.  Why SURE I said!  I hope I wasn't being a bit over optimistic.

I combed through Pinterest looking for ideas and pinned a few things but nothing really shouted at me to order a pattern or chose it.  Then I thumbed through some of my books and this is what I found.

This book is sooo old.  It has a copyright date of 1996 and I know I've had it since at least 1999 as there was a paper in there with that date.  I picked this pattern from the book.

I'm winging it as far as the layout goes.  I've made the flower head blocks so far.

I think I'm going to make a picket fence on each end of the table runner and have the flower growing up out of the fence.  In the middle to connect the two ends I'm going to do the Nine Patch blocks from a sage green and cream.  Rhonda was very specific on her colors she wanted this made out of.

I'll keep you posted on my progress.

And don't forget to come back tomorrow for the RUFFLES Blog Hop and see what I RUFFLED up.
