It's been a while since I posted any progress on my Snowman A-Zzzz quilt from Crabapple Hill patterns.
I've finished the embroidery on quite a few blocks but still have several to go.  These are my latest finished blocks since the first of the year.

The first block, J for Jingle Bells looks like it's a really big block but the reality is it is half the size of the other three blocks.  Oh the power of editing digital photos.   And it's also deceiving that I finished all these since January.  Yes, I did finish all these since January but I like to do all the stitching for a particular color thread on all the blocks before I move on to the next color.  I had almost all the E &F block finished before January so there wasn't much to do to finish it up.  I had the lettering finished on the other three so again that's usually the time consuming part of the block.

I almost have the "S Snowflake" block finished too.  I still need to do O, P, Q, R, W, X, & Z.  I have a little done on a couple of these blocks too.  There's only 7 left to finish.  YAY!   Over half way!  I really wanted to finish them all for the upcoming bloghop
However, that obviously isn't my superpower since I don't think I'm going to get those 7 blocks finished by my post date of April 11th.  And then I couldn't do that because I can't reveal my superpower until the blog hop.  Now what do you suppose my Superpower is????

While you're trying to figure out my superpower with me, see who's waving their flags in the Flags on a Stick Blog Hop.  I'll be waving mine on April 2nd.

  1. Oh, it is looking so cute. I should make one of those.

  2. Your embroidered blocks are fantastic. I adore the themes and whimsy. Creative Stitching Bliss...
