BLOCK ACCEPTED

Oh my gosh!  I'm so excited!  I'm doing the happy dance!  I just received this email from Quiltmaker Magazine!

Dear Doris Rice,

Congratulations! Your block has been chosen to be included in 100 Blocks, vol. 9, on sale May 6, 2014........

WOW!  Now the pressure is on to create a quilt to submit for their gallery but how am I going to get it quilted?  I'm suppose to be in MO the next couple of weeks!  Hmmmm... I'm going to have to think hard about his one.

This time I'm going to "pre-order" the magazines.  Let me know if you want me to put your name on the list for this issue of Quiltmaker's 100 Blocks Volume 9.  I assume they will be $6.99 plus tax the same as they were for the last issue.

Oh, and the pressure is REALLY on to create another block for their 10th Volume.  To quote the email I received from Carolyn Beam, Creative Editor "I'm also accepting blocks for consideration in vol. 10. Volume 10 is going to be a big issue with lots of fun promotions—we'll have reached 1000 blocks! Competition will be fierce for inclusion in this issue!......"

Oh Jeez!  Short deadlines, creative competition, traveling to MO... such pressure excitement and opportunity!
