What in the world did I get myself into? The rules seemed simple enough, all you had to do was start a new project each month; you didn't have to finish it but you could if you wanted or had time to. I could do that easy enough, start a new project that is. You can play along too if you want. The complete rules are posted here on Cat Patches.
So, here's what I started:
My Farmer's Wives's blocks - 5 of them to be exact
My Log Cabin Houses -
A Valentine wall hanging for the applique class - And I finished it! (I had to for the class)
Another Valentine wall hanging for the applique class - one to work on while teaching the class
The Pixel Faberge Egg for the Wake Up to Kona Blog Hop
Geese Circling New York for the Wake Up to Kona Blog Hop
And a couple of door stops for the Don't Let the Door Stop You Blog hop (that you'll have to check back on my day February 6th to see.
I think that's it.
You were quite creative and productive in January. I so love your log cabin blocks. Happy quilting.
ReplyDeleteWow you got several beautiful things started! My problem is not starting, it's finishing. Oh well, starting is such fun. :) blessings, marlene
ReplyDeleteWow, lots of pretty stuff here. I have that Valentine's quilt on my to-do list. Thanks for linking up.
ReplyDeleteWow!! You go! :D Farmer's Wife is a big project. You'll love that. I did a Dear Jane over the span of two years (10 blocks per month), and it was the best feeling when she was done. Lonely feeling, too - like when you finish an epic book series and you feel like dear friends are suddenly just gone. . . Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI am enjoying doing the tiny blocks! I need to get a copy of Farmers wife or Dear Jane!
ReplyDeleteYou sure kept yourself busy in January! What a great way to start the year! Lovin' those Dear Jane blocks and the log cabin and house blocks, especially. Your Kona projects are sure gorgeous too!
ReplyDeleteWow, looks like you have been really busy! I love your Farmer's Wife Blocks---I really want to make some of those! Thanks for all the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteWould love for you to stop by and link this up to Fabric Frenzy Friday!
