Okay, yeah back to it being cold outside. My family in MO reports frigid temps and cold, cold wind chills and so do my dear friends in Minnesota. Thus the reason I LOVE living in Texas. I hate the cold, I hate the snow, I hate the ice, and I really hate the bitter wind chills. Did I mention that I don't like cold weather?
Jo over at Jo's Country Junction reports her forecast for Monday and Tuesday is -50 degree wind chills. That's not fit for man or beast! She had to throw another quilt on the bed. I personally don't think I own enough quilts to stay warm with temps like that. And let me tell you I own A LOT of quilts. I'm guessing she does too.
She wants to know what's on your bed so here's what's on mine. I do have 2 quilts on there but I usually end up throwing the top one off. This is called God Bless Texas Sampler. I made it from the God Bless Texas pattern I designed and added sampler blocks all the way around it to make it queen size. (Note: I was going to refer you to my quilt patterns page so you could purchase your very own God Bless Texas pattern if you didn't already have it and I just realized that my Quilt Patterns Page is broken. I'll have to see if I can get
Fun quilts! I would kill for 50 degree temps right now!! The only good thing about this weather is that it looks pretty.
ReplyDeleteIt reminds me of summer too
ReplyDeleteLove your Texas quilt ! I can't imagine why is it red, white and blue ? LOL You should get all your red white and blue quilts together and take a picture of them in one pile...your ceiling probably isn't tall enough !
