We celebrated Linda and Vickie's birthday at The Salt Lick BBQ and a trip to B & B Quilt Shop in Buda. Donna made homemade banana pudding with real whipped cream for dessert. Yum! Yum!
We even got a little sewing done. I worked on a project for the Kona Cotton Blog Hop

Then I made my first 3 blocks in a new BOM I'm participating in with Angela at Quilts With A Heart. It's going to be a Log Cabin House Quilt. Each month you get strips to make 2 log cabin blocks and directions to make the house block from your stash scraps.
I also put the binding on this quilt for my first official trunk show "Texas Beauties" at the San Saba Quilt Show.
And then I worked on setting the donation quilt together for the Brownwood Quilters Guild.
Once that was done, I started on the applique for the borders. When it's complete, you will want to get your chance to win it so it can be your very own. They are only $1 each or 6 for $5. You can get them from me or any other Guild member.
You are such an inspiration! Love keeping up with all you do!
