My entry in the "Throw Quilt" category is my Winter Wonderland quilt I finally finished.
It took a long time to do all the hand embroidery on these block. I usually would only work on it in the car during our 10 hour trip from Texas to Missouri to go "back home". It took me over a year to do them.
Along the way, I collected fat quarters of blue snowflake fabric to do the blocks.

I collected this border fabric long before I even bought the pattern or thought about making this quilt. I was just waiting for the right pattern to go along.
Lots of different snowflake patterns from lots of different Statler Stitcher Pattern designers were used.
I used Glide Light Torquioisse Blue thread and Glide White thread. I just love how Glide
thread looks quilted out on a quilt. It has just a hint of a shine or glisten. Just what I needed for the snow.
Sometimes the back of the quilt is almost as pretty as the front. I love the random blue quilting that shows on the back.
