Nancy has been BUSY!  She brought me 7 wall hanging quilts.
This one isn't a test block but she said it was leftover blocks from a big quilt she made previously.  I love big block quilts and I love the colors in this one.

I quilted it with Glide pink thread and Curls and Pearls from Wasatch Quilting.

She said this star was suppose to have a circle around it but she couldn't make the star fit in the circle.  I like it just fine like it is.

I used Glide amethyst thread and the pattern is Star Spangled Banner.

This is a test block she was talking about.  She tries paper pieced blocks and then has all these orphan blocks.  Great idea to make them into a one block wall hanging.

I went out of my comfort zone on this one.  The thread is glide lt. blue turquoise thread and the pattern in is round peg in a square hole by Wasatch Quilting.  I went for the abstract quilting to go with the abstract border.  Nancy said she loved it so I'm happy!

Another test block.

The pattern is called Eternal Flame and the thread is Glide Vegas Gold.

And another test block.  The pattern is Ribbons Simplified from Wasatch Quilting and the thread is Glide Sand.

And the last test block...
The pattern is All Leaves from Sweet Dreams Studio and the thread is Glide Sand.
She actually brought me one more quilt but I'm saving it for later to show you and I can't tell you why but you'll get to see it in a future blog post.... I promise!
Here's a sneak peak at the border....

  1. Hi...are your pantos shown above for a computerized program on your long arm?
