February's UFO that I was suppose to work on was my oldest UFO, a double wedding ring that started out as a queen size quilt and then turned to a wall hanging, and is now in the trash. I just can't bring myself to finish it. I cut it out in 1994, long before I knew anything about templates or paper piecing, so you can imagine what a nightmare it was.
Let's just move forward from here and concentrate on March's UFO project. The number to work on for March is :
#10
which is my Stars and Stripes Sampler. I double I will finish it but I do hope to work on a few more blocks. There is lots of applique in this quilt.
How did you do this month? Did you finish your UFO or at least work on it? Leave me a comment and let me know.
Oh, Doris -- I'm so sorry you felt you had to trash your DWR. That's about the same time I started my DWR -- which was an on-again off-again project for years. When I finally said "I'm going to finish this!" I realize my issue was cutting - so I asked a friend to get her husband to make acrylic templates to match my paper templates. What a difference. Now if I'll get sit still long enough to finish quilting that last row of rings...
