I was doing so well on my UFO completions this spring and then something happened.  I don't know what it was though!  Somehow, somewhere life got in the way.  Maybe it was all those vacations to Missouri to see my little Raleigh girl.  Oh well, too bad.  I wouldn't trade them for anything. So this weekend I worked on trying to get another one or two UFO's complete.  I did it!  I got the Generals Wives UFO done.  And I even got the back pieced and ready for it to be quilted. That used up 7 1/2 yards of my stash.  :)  Yay!

And since I'm all caught up on customer quilts, I put one in the frame of my very own!  This one is called "A Tribute to Lady Bird Johnson".  Since living in Texas, Lady Bird and Bluebonnets just seem to go together.  She sure helped make the roadsides in Texas more beautiful.  I bought the bluebonnet panels for a song at the Guild Stash Booth at our quilt show last April, added some bluebonnet fabric and look what I've got.  Another quilt for my Texas Beauties Trunk Show.
