DESIGN WALL MONDAY ON TUESDAY

As usual, I'm a day late and more than a few dollars short.  This is what is on my design wall on Monday, although it's Tuesday when I'm posting this, and yes they are still on there on Tuesday.  These are the flying geese needed for the outer border of mom's quilt.  And no, I don't have the center blocks done but I'm making progress on them.

And then my Tuesday started out with an early morning trip to Walmart to purchase "propel and string cheese" for the golf tournament today.  And this is what I encountered in the parking lot.  I have never seen so many birds in all my life!  Isn't there a movie about birds?  I've never seen it though.  I'm not much of a movie buff.

And this is how I spent the remainder of my Tuesday.  Watching William play in a golf tournament in Abilene, TX.  It started out a tad chilly and extremely windy but turned out to be quite warm, and still windy!

And after the golf tournament was over I went to Harbor Freight Tools and purchased this work bench for my studio.  I wonder how long it will take me to get my guys to put it together or better yet, what will I have to use to bride them with to get it put together.

  2. I saw that workbench in the Harbor Freight flyer and couldn't help but think how great it would be in a sewing studio. I have a large farm table in mine--which was good since I really couldn't manage to get the Harbor Freight one this month anyway. I'm looking forward to seeing a photo of it being put to work in your studio!
