SATURDAY HAPPENINGS

I don't think I have ever, not ever, gone to a quilt show and came home with NO FABRIC!  I think I must be sick!  My friend Judy and I went to the Abilene Quilt Show today and the only thing I saw that I thought I just couldn't live without was a pattern.  I've seen this pattern before and resisted but today no more!  The name of the pattern is The Quilt Loft by Sue Pritt.
It can be made separately or you can purchase all 4 patterns and make them as one.

I also bought a new little gadget but I don't want to tell you about it until I use it.  So stay tuned in a couple of days to see what I think about it.

While at the quilt show I got a text from Drew that my beautiful little granddaughter Josie won 1st place at the baby show in Fort Scott KS at Good Ole Days.  Of course this Nana knew she was a winner, it just too the rest of you a little longer to figure that out.  :) That precious little girl is always so happy and her smile is as big as Texas!

Judy and I went to Hobby Lobby and I picked up a new small lamp for the bathroom.  William likes to leave the lights on all night in there.  I sometimes wonder if he's thinking a jet could use them as a landing runway or maybe he thinks him mom is made of money and gives no thought to the fact that it uses electricity which I have to pay for.  Although I remind him at least daily that contrary to his belief, I'm not made of money.  Like most other things I'm sure it goes in one ear and out the other; after all he is a teenager.

Then when I got home dear hubby and I went to Home Depot and I purchased new knobs for the bathroom cabinets.  Its a minor change but I love them.  I'll show you pictures of that tomorrow maybe.

And then the perfect ending to my day was when dear hubby fixed supper and I didn't have to do a thing to help.  He fixed homemade macaroni and cheese and grilled steaks.  Perfect ending to a great day.  THANK YOU GREGG!
