One of the fun things about Quilt Market is all the book signings.  I just love them.  It's a grand opportunity to meet the author(s) and pick up a free book too.  Usually I will go to "School House" for a short review of the author's trunk show and then attend the book signing.  It gives me an idea about the projects in there.  However, this year I wasn't able to attend "School House".  I was happy to pick up these 4 titles anyway.

Eleanor Burns is probably my favorite quilt book author, (preceded only by Judy Laquidara by very dear friend).

Oops, these next 3 are upside down and I can't figure out how to rotate them!  This is the 4th Volume of Quilter's Academy.  I don't own the other 3 but I have looked at them on the newsstand and wish I had them.

And who could go wrong with a quilt book using "Precuts".  I just love jelly rolls, charm packs, and layer cakes.

I also love Edyta Sitar.  She does some really neat scrappy quilts (which we all know I can't do).

I also picked up  a couple of patterns from Eleanor Burns, two of which I already had.  Which is your lucky day.  I'm going to give away these two patterns and ruler on Sunday.  All you have to do is leave me a comment.  I'll draw a random number and that comment will be the winner.

  1. I'm sorry you got duplicates....but maybe I'll be the "lucky" winner.....I always enjoy your blog.....sometimes, I just have to the upside down pictures! lol

  2. Thx for the chance to win these! They look like nice patterns.

  3. It sounds like you had a great time at Quilt Market. Eleanor Burns is one of my favorite quitlers so thank you for a chance to win your drawing.

  4. Quilt Martket sounds like so much fun. I am anxious to see all of the new products and ideas. And I love Eleanor and Edyta too.

  5. Thanks for the chance to win these lovely patterns and ruler. I LOVE your blog :)

  6. I KNOW Quilt Market is fun, from reading various bloggers, it must be wonderful and fun and educational. I cant deal with crowds very well, and I think the ultimate best thing would to be to meet a blogger or teacher
away from the hub bub of a show or market. A one on one type of real time spent. Where said "star" can take a breath.

  7. Gotta love that Judy Laquidara! :) Oh, wait . . that's me! Glad you had fun at market and got to see your family while there too. Looks like you got some great books and I look forward to seeing the wonderful quilts you make from them.

And . . please don't put me in the drawing.

  8. We met at Judy's retreat in Feb and I've been reading your blog ever since. I have several of Eleanor's patterns and books but, hey! a girl can always use more!!!

  10. Congratulations to Rite E in AZ. The random number my hubby chose was #3 and you were the 3rd person to comment. Please send me an email ( your mailing address so I can mail them to you.

Your comments make my day. I love to hear what you have to say. Please leave me a comment.
