There isn't much on my design wall as I finished up everything for the Little Princess.  I am collecting "special" fabrics for my next Texas Quilt called Texas Favorites.  It is designed and sold exclusively at the Houston Street Mercantile in Granbury TX.  Here is a picture of what I'm working towards.  I have a cream/tan toile that has a Texas scenery on it for the background of the barbed wire on the top and the bottom, I have a wood grain print for the brown border and sashing, and I have a weathered looking cream fabric for the state.  Not sure when I'll get to start on it yet but I'm hoping it will be soon.

  1. That's going to be a pretty quilt - are you appliqueing the pictures?
I haven't tried applique but the state blocks at P3 Designs are very pretty (Texas is the middle block on the second row):
I really have enjoyed following your blog.

  2. Rita, yes the blocks are appliqued. Thanks for the link for the blocks from P3 Designs. I just ordered it. I love the Texas one. And it does my heart good to hear you are enjoying following my blog. I hope I can continue to entise you and not lead you astray! lol

Your comments make my day. I love to hear what you have to say. Please leave me a comment.
