Judy at
Patchworktimes.com hosted a retreat last weekend and it was fantastic. Her readers are some serious quilters who like to have a good time. And a good time we had! We also got lots done. I don't think I've ever been to a retreat where everyone got sooo much completed.
I put the binding on my America the Beautiful quilt. (no picture, sorry!) but it is a UFO completely done!!!

I finished 2 more blocks in the General Wives BOM to catch me up to date.

I cut out and pieced this Brick Path quilt for Joy at
A Joyful Soul Fabrics. I still need to quilt it and bind it in time for her to display it in her booth at the Dallas Quilt Show in March.

Apparently I didn't take a picture of my blue and yellow string quilt. This one has a portion of it in it. I worked on my string quilt and got the first set of piano keys border on it. I needed some green fabric for the next border and don't have any. After the green border will be another set of wider piano keys border and that will make it a twin size quilt. The house blocks above the string quilt are mine also. I just laid it out and got opinions on what to use to sash it. I think the concensus is a deep red tone on tone. I also worked on my Winter Wonderland Quilt and it's on my design
wall floor right now.

Did I mention we liked to have a good time? I think after all I accomplished, we should celebrate a little.
You got a TON done at the retreat! It was very nice to meet you and be part of the sewing marathon! Sue
