Whoo Hoo!!! I finished quilting America The Beautiful Quilt.  It has only been on the frame since January 2nd.  Remember what happened on January 3rd.  Yep, that's when the quilting machine broke down.  Well, it's quilted and it's looks pretty darn good if I do say so myself.  I'll post pictures tomorrow as I'm just too darn tired to do it tonight.  The cable border gave me fits and took about 3 times longer than it should have but I was determined to finish it this evening.... and I did!

For those of you who know me (like mom and aunt Del who read this), you know I'm not an evening person and rarely quilt later than about 6:00 - 6:30 on any given evening.  Now, I might quilt at 6:00 in the morning, and when I'm not working away from home, I'm for sure quilting by 8:00 a.m. but not at 8:00 at night. I used to say if I don't get it done by noon, it's probably not going to get done but I've had to adjust that a tad.  Another thing I don't do is quilt in my building much after dark.  I'm not really afraid of the dark, just the things that make noises and I can't see what's making the noise in the dark. And since no one checks on me in my building, I'd be dead before anyone in my household missed me.

Now that that quilt is done, I will put the baby quilt in the frame for my niece.  The baby shower is a week away and I still have to mail it to Missouri.  Then I'm ready for my customer quilts again and I'm sure my customers are ready for them too.
