I have spent New Year's Eve day and all day New Years Day working on creating my sewing room/spare bedroom space.  I know it doesn't look like I spent two days arranging it but I really did... really!  This picture is taken standing in the doorway.  Behind the ironing board, that is piled high with junk really important stuff that I haven't done anything with yet, is a bed that is piled high with more junk really important stuff.  You can't see it in the photo but there is also a chest of drawers to the right of the bed.  This is the spare bedroom part of the room. Which by the way I used the chest of drawers to store more fabric.
At the foot of the bed is my cutting table (that is piled with yet more junk really important stuff).  The tan wall to the left of the window and cutting table is my design wall.  I'm going to install a 72" roll up window shade that I'm covering with flannel on this wall.  I just love all the cubbies under the cutting table.  I stole them from the garage.  They previously held scrapbooking supplies that are now in walk in closet in the laundry room.

Not an exciting picture of the design wall but to the left of the design wall is my treadle sewing machine.  When I get a second sewing machine, I'm going to put the head of the treadle down and use the cabinet for a table for the sewing machine.  It's a tight squeeze in the corner but better than nothing.

This is my favorite part of the whole room.  Here are the bookshelves I stole from the living room and William's bedroom.  I still couldn't get all of my totes with fabric in them but the remainder of the totes are in the hall walk in closet immediately across from the doorway of this room.

It's not an ideal sewing room but given the parameters I have to work with and what I used to have, its pretty darn good.  I'm happy for now and that's all that matters.
