IRONS - PAST, PRESENT, FUTURE

Today was Quilt Guild day.  I belong to two groups and they both meet on the same day; one in the morning and one in the evening.  Our morning group's program was Irons - Past, Present, Future.  Benita gave a very interesting talk about irons from the past and showed several antique irons.  I love antiques, especially if they has something to do with sewing or quilting.  I forgot to take any pictures of Benita's irons but here are a few of the irons I have.  My favorite is the little blue Coleman iron.  My pedicure lady, Mary gave me this.  She is so nice to me!
This evenings group, Razzle Dazzle Quilters program was on making prairie points.  Connie demonstrated a really neat ruler to make prairie points and a "ric rac" border.  Again, I forgot to take pictures but will post information about the ruler in my next post.
