I attended the Goldthwaite, Texas Quilt Show today.  As many quilt shows as I go to, it never ceases to amaze me the talent on display.  I didn't count them, but I think there were as many hand quilted quilts as there were machine quilted quilts.  Of course, I couldn't resist taking a picture of this Americana Quilt.  You know I'm a sucker for them!
I also couldn't resist this little dress quilt, some awesome applique and hand work on this quilt.
My quilts I entered didn't win any ribbons but I really didn't expect them to.  It is viewer's choice and we all know it is now what you know, but who you know (or in this case what you quilt).  I'm not known in Mills County Texas at all.  Actually I doubt I'm very well known in Brown County Texas.  I just like entering quilts in shows so others can enjoy them as much as I do.
